New PSP Phone Design Shown On Video

Well “video” is a strong word for a single pic with a song in the background, but we’ll give this design credit for its looks, not the presentation method. Created by Casper-Zeta, the following PSP Phone concept combines the looks of XPERIA X10 with the form factor of PSP Go.

The result is a gaming smartphone with sliding controls, a directional pad, a large touchscren (4 inch maybe?), Google Chrome support, Android on board (2.2/3.0) and all the goodies usually associated with XPERIA devices. Shoulder buttons are also included, as you can see. What do you think? Have PSP Phone designs changed much over the past year?

Phone on Board Minimalistic Fixed Phone Design Brings Us Back to the Pen Era

In spite of the fact that we live in the touchscreen age, when we chat on the fixed phone we tend to jot down notes on pieces of paper… and boy are they hard to find when you need them! The “Phone on Board” concept solves this issue, by including a whiteboard in the mix, used both as a phone dock and a place to write down what you need to remember.

Intel Link Mobile Phone Concept

Intel Link is what they call “a folded iPad” or simply a very hot concept smartphone, created by Mark Law and David Law (who are twins) for Particle Design. The idea is to hook up smartphones, computers and notebooks using a dual screen phone as their link, thus the name of the device.

PSP Phone Revived, Made by Sony Ericsson and Based on Android 3.0

It’s been a year or so since the PSP Phone rumors were extinct, but now they’re back in full force, courtesy of an Engadget piece published recently. Apparently, the famous blog has a trusted source saying that SE will be making an Android 3.0 gaming phone. What you see below is the Engadget mockup of the device.

The smartphone is supposed to be incredible: its design will be a hybrid between Samsung Captivate and PSP Go, it’ll use the landscape slider form factor and include gaming controls instead of a QWERTY keyboard. The display will be somewhere between 3.7 and 4.1 inches in diagonal and the handset will even sport a-la-PSP shoulder buttons.

Freescale Mobile Device Concept Gets Demoed

Freescale’s mobile device shown in the following image and videos seems to be a very serious project that we hope to see it turned into a real product some day. The new type of device is basically a tablet, that’s very mobile and user-friendly, plus it relies on cloud solutions and social interaction.

Both business users and kids will love this product, as it can get gaming controls attached and it fits your every corporate need and service. The Freescale slate supports 3D graphics, audio calls via headset, video calls, Bluetooth, WiFi and it even acts as a remote for appliances in the house. Also, the unit is able to connect to your in-car system.
You can use the Freescale tablet in the gym, for health monitoring, you can download apps on it, sync the device with cloud/desktop PC, view media content, browse the web and much more! A 3 axis accelerometer will once again enhance the gaming features on the portable gizmo.
