We have heard about the T-Mobile G2 a few months ago. Lately, three new images of this upcoming phone have showed up. These images showed off the front and side view of the upcoming G2 handset and clearly indicate that it will be running a vanilla build of the Android 2.2 operating system. More info after the break...
T-Mobile is calling the G2 as “fastest smartphone experience in America”. However, results show that its Qualcomm Scorpion processor is relatively slow. In addition to that, the G2’s MSM7×30 chip will be clocked at 800MHz rather than 1GHz, which is definitely better. Although we’re not concluding that T-Mobile might be lying about the G2’s speed, but it’s more of saying that it didn’t just turn out to be what most of us have expected.
T-Mobile likewise confirmed that the T-Mobile G2 would come with a Flash Flayer 10.1 as well as “one-touch quick keys” which will enable a fast access to various Google apps and shortcuts. Aside from this, the G2 is also expected to come up with the HTC Sense UI. There are some Android fans that have some complaints about this UI, but overall many still finds the HTC’s Sense UI to be a lot better than other UI’s out there.via
Since we have seen this phone before in many gadget websites, the specs and features we have mentioned are no longer a surprise. And as compared with the previous images of this upcoming handset, its latest images look far better and more appealing as well.
The T-Mobile G2 is apparently T-Mobile’s first HSPA+ smartphone to hit the market. T-Mobile is expected to give more information regarding its price as well as its availability date. Although there is some rumors that this smartphone will be offered for $199.99 with a contract and about $ 499.99 without a contract.via
