HTC Blackshaddow (Tablet) Concept

HTC Blackshaddow, a Very Original and Interesting Approach to the HTC Tablet
Designer Long-Nong Huang didn’t provide too much info on the HTC Blackshaddow tablet, this device is very original. We’ll explain immediately why, after stating that this concept (and some more that will come soon) is the work of Silverstreet, as the designer mentioned.
Well, for starters this isn’t your average landscape slate, so the HTC tablet in question is a portrait device, that’s basically a bigger smartphone. We guess that crossing the 5 inch limit automatically makes your device a tablet these days, then so be it! Let’s embrace the HTC Blackshaddow as the 5 inch smartphone, or a smartbook or the tiny tablet that challenged the Dell Streak to a duel.
Would you like to have a wider than usual smartphone in your pocket? What do you think about this HTC tablet design?
[Thanks Long-Nong Huang]

KOKO MUO - Cool Analog Watch

KOKO MUO - Cool Analog Watch: Designer: Löytö Esineiden
Experience the power of negative space. It’s a common misconception that a graphic design is one who fills up all the space he or she is given, that being the greatest use of the entire canvas. Nay, I say nay, this is the job of the graphic designer: to utilize the space in a way that gives magical powers to the bits he or she has to place upon it. That’s what the industrial designer has done here, in this watch. Well played, Löytö Esineiden, well played.

Nokia X9 Symbian 3 Phone

Nokia X9 Symbian^3 Phone Uses Dragontail Glass Screen
Another Symbian^3 concept came from Mynokiablog.com. This time it’s the Nokia X9 model we’re talking about, a handset that uses the brand new Dragontail glass technology for protection. The designer is Andre Nuansa and the handset is pretty simple, rectangular and classic.
A 1.2GHz CPU handles dual core processing and the task of Symbian, coupled with the Qt GUI.
The Dragontail is a rival for the Gorilla Glass technology, being six times stronger than regular glass. On the back of the Nokia X9 we find a 12MP camera with true zoom, Carl Zeiss optics and 1080p HD video capture.

Central processing unit (CPU)

What is CPU Means? CPU stands for?
The central processing unit (CPU) is part of a computer system that executes instructions of a computer program, and is the main factor to perform the functions of the computer. CPU to execute each instruction program order, to perform basic arithmetic, logic and input / output system. This term is used for the computer industry since at least 1960. Shape, design and implementation of CPUs have changed dramatically in the first, but their main function remains the same.

The information technology recovery has helped... Image via Wikipedia

The first processors are designed specifically as part of a larger, sometimes one-of-kind, computer. However, this costly method of designing custom CPUs for a particular application, has led to the development series of processors that are made for one or more purposes. This standardization trend began in the era of mainframes and minicomputers of discrete transistors and has accelerated greatly to the popularization of the integrated circuit (IC). The IC has allowed increasingly complex processors to be designed and manufactured to tolerances of a few nanometers. Both the miniaturization and standardization of CPUs have increased the presence of these digital devices in modern life far beyond the limited application of dedicated computers. Modern microprocessors appear in everything from cars to cell phones and toys for children. source

Str1pe Phone Uses Gesture Recognition on Its Lower Half
Str1pe phone concept concept. This device was created by deviantART user TJKohl.
As you can see under the main touchscreen there’s an anodized/brushed aluminum stripe area, that’s touch sensitive and allows you to swipe right and left. This area also recognizes gestures, just like a laptop’s trackpad and this looks like a very elegant device, maybe one that deserves LG or Apple branding.
