The car was unveiled at the 30-th anniversary of the revolution that is managed by the Libyan leader to power.
The Saroukh el-Jamahiriya (Libyan rocket) a five-passenger sedan in a Libyan revolutionary metallic green with tinted windows, was launched at a special summit of the Organization of African Unity, organized by Colonel Qaddafi.
The car has the aerodynamic lines of conventional models, but the front and rear ends are rocket-shaped.
The interior is full of airbags, an integrated defense electronics, and a folding top that protects passengers in frontal collisions.

Al-Dukhali Meghareff, president of the Libyan Arab domestic investment that produced the prototype, is considered revolutionary in the history of the automobile.
He said it was developed from ideas conceived by Gaddafi security.
The company plans to open a factory next month in Tripoli, Libyan capital, to begin production.
"The leader spent so many hours of his precious time to think about an effective solution. This is the safest car ever produced," said Meghareff.
"The invention of the safest car in the world are proof that the Libyan revolution is built on the man a chance."
