Samsung Galaxy Tab Official Specs and Review

After some weeks of speculation and rumors about an upcoming tablet, Samsung already breaks its silence and officially confirmed that they are coming with a new 7-inch Android tablet called the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

The Galaxy Tab will sport a 7-inch TFT-LCD WSVGA screen with a 1024×600 pixels resolution display. It will also be powered by a Cortex A8 1.0GHz application processor with PowerVR SGX540, which is the same processor used in the Samsung Galaxy S-phone.
In addition to these, the Galaxy Tab also included the following hardware specifications:

Runs an Android 2.2 operating system
Comes with a dual camera, a 3MP camera with auto-focus and LED Flash and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera which is best for video calls
Comes with 16GB or 32GB internal storage
512MB of RAM

Has a 4,000 mAh battery which can withstand up to 7 hours of movie play
Comes with 5GHz dual band 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity

Equipped with Bluetooth 3.0
Comes with various sensors such as Gyroscope, Geo-magnetic, Accelerometer and Light sensor as well

Being an Android-based tablet it will also allow its users to have a quick access to the Android market as well as Samsung Apps for more applications and contents. Well, the Samsung Galaxy Tablet looks full-packed with these great features not to mention its very impressive specs. The Galaxy Tab appears to be a very powerful tablet that will provide its users a new and exciting experience as well as giving them more options to enjoy. Samsung must really be serious in taking some market shares from the very popular Apple’s iPad.
