The Galaxy Tab will sport a 7-inch TFT-LCD WSVGA screen with a 1024×600 pixels resolution display. It will also be powered by a Cortex A8 1.0GHz application processor with PowerVR SGX540, which is the same processor used in the Samsung Galaxy S-phone.
In addition to these, the Galaxy Tab also included the following hardware specifications:

- Comes with a dual camera, a 3MP camera with auto-focus and LED Flash and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera which is best for video calls

- Has a 4,000 mAh battery which can withstand up to 7 hours of movie play

- Equipped with Bluetooth 3.0
- Comes with various sensors such as Gyroscope, Geo-magnetic, Accelerometer and Light sensor as well

Well, the Samsung Galaxy Tablet looks full-packed with these great features not to mention its very impressive specs. The Galaxy Tab appears to be a very powerful tablet that will provide its users a new and exciting experience as well as giving them more options to enjoy. Samsung must really be serious in taking some market shares from the very popular Apple’s iPad.
We’ll have to see in the future how the Samsung Galaxy Tab will convince customers to eventually buy this tablet. The Galaxy Tab is expected to be on sale in Europe by mid-September and in US and other areas before the end of the year. The Galaxy Tab is expected to be offered at a price of about €759 or around $975 which seems to be a very competitive price. via
